Beginning this month, Lisa Jensen from the United Way of Chittenden County will be working part-time at CCV’s Burlington and Montpelier locations as a On-Site Resource Coordinator. Her role is to work with students who need help finding community resources to support their ability to stay in school, maintain jobs, etc. Sometimes, life outside of the classroom can make it very difficult to stay focused on your studies… and Lisa is here to help! This might include getting help finding childcare, transportation, fuel assistance, locating counseling services, and much much more!
Lisa will be available via phone or web conference. She will also be working from CCV Montpelier on Mondays from 10 AM to 2 PM and CCV Burlington on Wednesdays from 2 to 5 PM. (Schedule may change for the fall semester.) Lisa Jensen,is a very huge part of CCV'S new advantage to help students make it through some tough times,although it was very hard to focus on the second half of the semester.
ReplyDeleteLisa did help out great with information to make it in the end.
She will be very needed when it comes as winter is now,and only positive things will come from all of this.
This is coming from a very positive situation that has happened.
