3rd Annual Associate Degree Career Fair a Success

On Thursday, April 10th, 80+ job seekers (a third of them CCV students or graduates) attended the 3rd Annual Associate Degree Career Fair. Representatives from businesses ranged from AllScripts and Americorps to the State of Vermont and V-Tech Solutions. For Lisa Yaeger, Human Resource Director for the Community College of Vermont the Career Fair one highlight was "...meeting some excited CCV graduates who want to become staff members someday!"

CCV Business Management student Jesse Lawyer explained, "This is the first time I've attended an event like this. Now I have a much better idea of the opportunities out there."

Jesse, along with other CCV students Sara Maginn and Cecil Lushima prepared winning resumes to distribute to interested employers or mail in along with applications for employment.
